Welcome to the Himalayan Kingdom of beauty and galore. After you arrival at the Paro airport, you are greeted by our agent who takes you to your respective hotel. After checking in and relaxing for a while, you head out for Paro sightseeing tour- Paro valley and Ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. Paro Valley- One of the widest valleys in the country, this is a pristine panorama of rice fields, crystalline river flowing surrounded by floral bouquets and aesthetically built traditional hut-like housing structures. Ruins of Drukgyel Dzong- Built during 1644-49 to commemorate the victory of Bhutan over Tibet, the ruins of this magnificent fortress are one of the major archaeological sites of the country. If it is a cloudless day, you can also have a sight of Mt. Jumolhari from here. As you get done for the day, you come back to your hotel for a a cozy overnight stay.

The exploration begins as you head out for Tiger’s Nest. After having a scrumptious breakfast, you proceed for a trek to the Tiger’s Nest with the shots of adrenaline being fired with full force. The Tiger’s Nest is one of the oldest and most sacred places here with a monastery at a height of about 10, 000 ft. The trek would take about 2 hours, however, it might take longer for beginners. Legends state that Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress to mollify a devil at the Taktshang Goemba or Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest). Later, he meditated here for about three months.This is, undoubtedly, one of the most enchanting places with beautiful picturesque views of the valley and the colorful forests from the top of the hill. As you’re done for the day, you proceed back to the hotel followed by a comfortable overnight stay there. Tip: Make sure to hold back the photographer in you as clicking pictures is prohibited inside the monastery.

Full day sightseeing with the marvels of history. After having breakfast, you head out to visit the National Museum and the Rinpung Dzong. Rinpung Dzong- Translating its name to 'Fortress on a Heap of Jewels', the Rinpung Dzong was formerly a National Assembly meeting hall. Also identified as a masterpiece in the world of Bhutanese monasteries, it hosts the festival of masks (Paro Tsechu). It defeated the valley from Tibetan invasions in the 17th & 18th Century and is a must visit for the enchanting views and architectural galore. National Museum- History awaits you in an age-old ta dzong (watch tower). Visit the national museum to explore the artifacts, coinage, Bhutanese art, cultural riches and stamps displayed. While you are on a Paro sightseeing tour, you also get to see a 3D map of Bhutan here. It isn’t an ordinary museum, not just by the virtue of its location but also because of the treasures it holds in it. This is followed by returning back to hotel for a cozy overnight stay.

Fly back, homebound after an amazing trip. On the last day of your Paro sightseeing tour, you have a delicious breakfast before you pack your stuff, After this, you checkout and proceed to heading back home. You are dropped off at the nearest airport as you depart with smiling faces and memories packed in your suitcases.
