Coorg

Coorg, officially called Kodagu, is the most sought after and popular hill station of Karnataka. Lying serenely amidst high mountains, Coorg’s landscape stays misty throughout the year. The aboriginals of the place are Kodavas. Apart from Kannada, the other two main languages of this hill station are Kodagu and Kodava.
The best time to visit Kodagu is between October to May and the peak season for this hill station is within February to May. Kodagu is the largest producer of Coffee in India. Also, it is one of the places with highest rainfall across the nation. Undulating hills covered in lush green forests and a landscape dotted with coffee plantations, tea gardens and orange groves, this hill station has breathtakingly stunning scenic beauty.
The popular tourist attractions in Kodagu include Bhagamandala, Talakaveri, Nisargadhama, Dubare, Abbey Falls, Iruppu Falls and Nagarahole National Park. Pushpagiri and Brahmagiri in Coorg are ideal for trekking.

The coffee plantations of Coorg are famous globally and attract many tourists. The remote and less popular waterfalls also make for beautiful photographs and lush natural beauty.

1

Day 1: (check-in Day):

The Driver will pick you up from Bangalore/Mysuru at Early Morning and take you to Home/Homestay at Coorg. Once you enter Coorg, En-route the drive will take you to visit the following spots: 1. Golden Temple 2. Nisargadhama The guests can have Lunch at any restaurant of their choice at Kushalnagara. After visiting the above mentioned places and Lunch, the driver will take you to Hotel/Homestay. You will reach Hotel/Homestay around 4 to 5 PM. Freshen up at the homestay. By nightfall, relax near the camp fire at the Homestay (if your staying in Homestay) while the Dinner is being prepared. Have Dinner and unwind at the Hotel/Homestay.

2

Day 2:

After breakfast, around 9.00 AM , head towards Madikeri to visit the the following tourist spots: 3. Talakaveri 4. Bhagamandala Drive to Madikeri and have Lunch at Madikeri and then visit: 5. Abbi Falls 6. Raja’s Seat 7. Omkareshwara Temple Head back to the Hotel/Homestay. Have Dinner at the Hotel/Homestay and unwind.

3

Day 3: (check-out Day):

After breakfast, return back to Bangalore/Mysuru. On the way the driver will take the guests to visit: 8. Dubare Elephant Camp. After visiting Dubare Elephant Camp, head back to Bangalore/Mysuru.
