Client has an option to be picked up from the Dar Es Salaam Ferry (if coming from Zanzibar) or from Dar Es Salaam International Airport or from a hotel within Dar Es Salaam city limits. Ideally, the pick up time is between 4:30AM & 6AM but this can be adjusted as needed. Drive from Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi National Park (approx. 6 hour drive). Along the way you will pass through many villages and small towns. As you are driving to Mikumi, you will get to see the beautiful landscape and amazing scenery of the country. You will stop for lunch near or in Morogoro town. Start your late afternoon game drive as soon as you arrive at Mikumi National Park. You have a pretty good chance of spotting a number of wild animals such as Elephants, Giraffes, African Cape Buffaloes, Wildebeest, Zebras, hippos and many more. All this without worrying about crowds of people. After the game drive, rest at the hotel/camp where you will have a chance to freshen up, have dinner and end your day.

Today you will start early with a morning game drive. After breakfast at your hotel, we will take you to see more wild animals. Later in the afternoon, you will stop for lunch at a picnic campsite inside the park. After lunch you will begin your drive back to Dar Es Salaam. You will arrive in Dar Es Salaam around 9/10pm
